Analysis tasks can include determining the military utility of satellites, analyzing threats to those satellites, evaluating architectures of sensors to detect threats, countermeasures to defeat threats, and how best to enable operations of space control systems.

Job Type:  Junior to Mid-Level Modeling and Simulation Space Mission Analyst

Job Description: We are looking for sharp, articulate and innovative individuals to provide analytic decision support to multiple Air Force customers in the Albuquerque area.  We are looking for individuals passionate and committed to helping further our nation’s space capabilities through investment decision analysis and trade studies. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience and skills, and be able to harness it all into supporting all phases of materiel investment decision support from early system engineering requirements analysis and trades, to crafting future employment concepts for mission employment, to in-depth military utility analyses. This could include tasks such as coding astrodynamics-oriented algorithms for satellite tracking, to coding physics level sensor phenomenology models into system and mission level models, to coding mission level space Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) constructs and models. We are looking for individuals with experience or understanding of any and all space missions (e.g. Space Control, Space Situation Awareness, Space Support and all Global Space Missions such as satellite communications, Positioning, Navigation and Timing and Missile Warning), and who can also understand, model and assess the linkages of space missions to other warfighting domains.

Job Description:

ExoAnalytic Solutions is looking for a talented systems engineer to support space and missile defense missions in the Huntsville, AL area.

  • This position is for a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for supporting live data exploitation, modeling, simulation and analysis, with a strong background in families-of-systems integration and development.
  • Candidate will develop set up a design of experiments, perform modeling and simulation, and develop sensing and characterization algorithms. Engineer should be familiar with command and control, battle management, weapon and sensor resource management.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have demonstrated system engineering experience with a background in real-time asset command and control, space systems (e.g., communications, PNT, remote sensing) and/or missile defense mission architecture.

  • Experience with sensor and weapon systems interactions (ground control, booster, kill-vehicle, detection, tracking and characterization) and resultant performance impacts due to various algorithm implementations
  • Familiar with and capable of planning and directing large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary performance analysis tasks
  • Engineer familiar with missile and spacecraft modeling, missile intercept, and battle management.
