ExoAnalytic Solutions is looking for sharp, articulate and innovative individuals interested in supporting national security space customers located on Kirtland AFB through modeling, simulation and analysis (MS&A). We are looking for individuals passionate and committed to helping further our nation’s space capabilities through investment decision analysis and trade studies. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience and skills, and be able to harness it all into supporting all phases of materiel investment decision support from early system engineering requirements analysis and trades, to crafting future employment concepts for mission employment, to in-depth military utility analyses. This could include tasks such as coding astrodynamics-oriented algorithms for satellite tracking, to coding physics level sensor phenomenology models into system and mission level models. The scope of analysis supported spans satellite components, to full satellite systems (ground/link/space segments), to layered, distributed and proliferated architectures across all space mission areas and their elements:  Space Force Enhancement (Satellite Communications; Missile Warning; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; Positioning, Navigation and Timing), Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Enterprise Space Battle Management and Command and Control (ESBMC2), Space Control and Space Support.  Additionally, space analysis is increasingly expanding to examine multi-domain impacts, interdependencies and synergies.  Analysis tasks can include objectively quantifying the military utility of satellite and constellation alternatives, assessing cost-benefit of architectures, assessing first-order technical feasibility of approaches, performing threat-based, scenario driven assessments, and assessing how utility varies as BMC2 tactics, techniques and procedures are changed.

Experience with agent based modeling is highly preferred; especially ExoAnalytic’s indigenous System Effectiveness Analysis Simulation (SEAS) or the Air Force’s AFSIM framework. Analyst should be prepared to:

  • Develop new algorithms and processes, enhance current tool capabilities, and perform analyses.
  • Maintain and update existing software and convert tool functionality to current generation languages, structures, and operating systems.
  • Develop and apply graphical user interfaces and visualization tools where appropriate.
  • Work both independently and on small teams and interact with program office and government customers.
  • Generate routine documentation of work in the form of software documentation, vector checks to the customer and occasional oral presentations to study customers and organization leadership (generally Colonel/O-6 level).

ExoAnalytic Solutions is looking for a talented systems engineer to support space and missile defense missions in the Huntsville, AL area.

  • This position is for a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for supporting live data exploitation, modeling, simulation and analysis, with a strong background in families-of-systems integration and development.
  • Candidate will develop set up a design of experiments, perform modeling and simulation, and develop sensing and characterization algorithms. Engineer should be familiar with command and control, battle management, weapon and sensor resource management.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have demonstrated system engineering experience with a background in real-time asset command and control, space systems (e.g., communications, PNT, remote sensing) and/or missile defense mission architecture.
