Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Michael Bantel is a company co-founder, the Chief Technical Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors. As the Chief Technical Officer Dr. Bantel is responsible for fostering a corporate culture of innovation and technical superiority. Dr. Bantel’s vision is for ExoAnalytic to drive revolutionary enhancements to the state of the art in the company’s core fields, and then to challenge conventional industry expectations by applying those successes to new problems in novel and unexpected ways.
Dr. Bantel is a leading researcher and mentor in both Missile Defense and Space Situational Awareness. Prior to founding ExoAnalytic, Dr. Bantel worked at SPARTA coding high fidelity simulations and model based algorithms, and conducted postdoctoral research involving the design, construction, and operation of a precision cryogenic gravitational experiment. These early experiences mitigating noise sources, system non-linearities, and subtle biases created a strong foundation for the industry-disrupting technologies that Dr. Bantel now steers.
Dr. Bantel earned a B.S. in Physics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, a M.S. in Physics from the University of California, Irvine, and a Ph.D in Physics from the University of California, Irvine.
